This amber is unfortunately a bit too much like every other Northwest amber around: medium to strong hops and a strong amber malt profile tasting of nothing more than amber malt. Solid, but unexciting.

Mild aroma of roasted malts, and perhaps slight alcohol burn in the nose on big whifs. Heavily malted with burnt malts up front, but also somewhat astringent. Okay body, decent mouthfeel. Finishes rather flat with only mild maltiness. Seems fairly simple & one dimensional.
