bought a bottle of this in november 2002 in leipzig. the bottle looked like it was from the commie days with a beige label and strange english name. but the beer tasted fresh and was definitely not a pils. overwhelmingly full and with peach and rockmelon and some cane sugar. absence of hops. felt like a time warp

[ Trade by Maria ]. Alc. 5.2%. Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, sour malt notes, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090915]

Jul 14, 2009 Medium yellow coloured and clear. Has a big, white head, mostly lasting. Faint malty aroma, caramel, cerials. Flavor starts moderate sweet and finish light bitter.

Nov 1, 2008 Comes as Premium German Beer 12. It’s golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt and light flower. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of butterscotch, straw, flower and it’s a pleasant and refreshing beer, that ends on a dry note.

Mar 19, 2008 Bottle ("German Beer", thanks kappldav). Neutral aroma. Pale hazy green golden, creamy head. Medium malty and chewy body, ok hop balance. Actually quite wellcrafted.

Dec 12, 2007 Also die Flasche ist ja eine Katastrophe. Die sieht ja aus wie ein Bier aus der DDR. Diese Zeiten haben wir doch hinter uns. Und dann diese komische Alufolie drum, wirklich keine gelungene Aktion. Das Bier an sich geht aber, kann man trinken. Es ist ziemlich mild, ist aber auch in keine positive Richtung auffällig.
