Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

Sampled at 2009 Pittsburgh Brufest. Poured a slightly hazy orange color. Decent aromas of citrus and honey. Good citrus flavor along with some honey and sweet malt. Pretty sweet for an APA but not too shabby.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, big rocky and fluffy "dirty" white head; mild but distinctive piney and "woody" hoppy nose with a sweetish malty-fruity background; moderate dry bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering hoppy finish with citrus-fruits and sweet pale malt in the aftertaste. Nice, not too complex brew........

Not too exciting to be honest. The color is light, transparent with a golden hue. The taste is a little bitter with a faint hoppy taste to it.

i duno, this is pretty ordinary. the aroma was off-putting, like budweiser out of a tap. skunky and heavy on the corn. looked like it too. taste wasnt much better, kinda bland with a dull cereal and grain flavor. finish was a little oily and actually was better than the initial taste. pass.

Bottle. Poured a golden color with a creamy, white head. Nose has a good amount of grapefruit also some floral hop notes with a touch of caramel behind them. Thin to medium body with soft carbonation. Flavor is hoppy and slightly dry with caramel and bready malts. Finishes mildly bitter.

355 ml bottle @ Pikkulintu. Poured pale golden with a thin white head. Cascade hops and some malt in the aroma. Some hoppiness in the flavour, otherwise quite watery. A bit of cereal in the aftertaste.
