This copper ale poured with a fluffy beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a strong sweet caramel malt flavor with some raisin and a smoky palate.

Bottled. Pours a cloudy amber with orange highlights and a scant but lacy off-white head. Aroma starts with prunes and backfills with toffee and a dash of citrus. Medium slightly creamy body and fine carbonation. The taste has toffee, fruit, oranges with a touch of smoke and peat. The hops finally show up in the crisp dry finish.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. A bit darker than exspected, creamy head. Starts malty and dry, almost like a dunkel. But also hoppy-flowery notes, also some caramell. Finish malty and dry, a bit woody. Really interesting beer!
