Tap@PorterhouseDublin. Light fruity aroma with hops notes. Cloudy, yellow colour, white head, good lace. Sweetish, bitter, hops, hint of banana, lightly spiced. Medium body. Not much like a real German Hefeweizen. I like those sweeter and fuller.

Draft at the brewpub, even served in a nice weizen glass. Straight outta Munich, this delivers the requisite banana, clove and yeast. Very well done and smack dab in style. (#3666, 9/13/2009)

[2176-20090520] Tap. Sweet fruity yeast aroma with strawberry or raspberry leaves. Clear, medium orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Some banana esters and green twigs flavour with mild sweet floral cardboard corn notes. Medium body is tangy. Seems fresh, average.

2009-05-20. Dark yellow with a moderate white head and lace. Aroma of lightly spiced yeast, sweet undertones of wheat and grains. (6+) Flavour is similar, light spice throughout, mild yeast and light bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste after sweet wheat and grains in the finish. Average palate. Rather pleasant. Draught @ Franciscan Well. Hazy golden with medium white short lasting head. Sweet aroma with yeast,wheat and banana notes. Sweet yeasty flavor with banana notes. Ends sweet.

@ Franciscan Well in Cork: Hazy golden, tiny head, notes of ripe fruit, banana, hops and some spices. Flavour is sweet with a short bitter finish.

Had this at the brewery, fairly decent. Gold and hazy with a large head. Soft fruity wheat flavours, bananas especially. Very refreshing but not exactly challanging. Probably the best beer the brewery does.
