Daqrker golden cider. Very distinct with apple and maple aroma, apple purée almost. Rich brown sugar in mouth, with maple notes. Rich alcohol warmth. Some notes of oak wood. May 2005.

Robe dorée sirupeuse. Arômes d’alcool, de pommes mures en jus brut. Saveurs sucrées, mielleuse, légèrement acidulée. Pommes bien présente. L’érable enrobe le tout légèrement et prend place en finale.

Strong maple syrup and apple aroma with some cinammon notes. Clear deep copper colour has nice viscous legs on the sides of the glass. Thick, sweet, heavy flavour is chased by alcohol flavours and an acidic apple character. Body is rich and syrupy. Bottle.

500 ml bottle shared with Capflu, Goldorak, beerbuzzmontreal, Boutip and DumDum at the Ciderwinder tasting in Ottawa. Dark, cloudy amber, totally still and quite thick-looking...maple-honey sweet nose, perfumy as it warms...thick, sweet, alcoholic, fairly oily/syrupy body...peppery finish. Quite nice..like many of the higher alcoholic ciders though, not one to drink in more than a tiny glass at once.

Cloudy, looked like a mix of peach and apple juice with plenty of pulp. Alcoholic, yet sweet nose, close to a Calvados, with a dash of maple syrup. An intersting taste profile; maple shows up first, alcohol bumps it out of the way only to get pulled by a funky acidity, only to get a nice apple finish. Pretty decent balance and mouthfeel. Thanks Boutip!

Pours a slightly hazy amber color. Good aroma of maple and apples. Very good flavor of maples and apples with a bitter finish.

Clear bold golden with lots of legs. Strong nose, liquorous and sweet mead reminiscent in its big honey/maple tones. Grassy flavor profile, tasty honey/apple mix. Obvious alcohol presence in the slight burn if holding too long, but its warmth was comfortable rather than overwhelming. Full bodied, slick texture. Good stuff.

(375ml bottle) Many thanks to Boutip for bringing this rarity to the 1st Annual Ciderwinder Tasting in Ottawa! Gorgeous orange-brown body with a maple, honey and brandy nose. Very maple and tangy flavour. Nice balance between sweetness and tartness. Very good.
