rand (3450) - SWITZERLAND - APR 23, 2017
Bottle 0,33 l / Bier-Bienne (CH). Sustained golden beer with a nice pale ochre foam, many floats and many laces. Aromas of citrus, spices, orange and cereals-brioche. The taste is lively, fresh with wheat therefore bread, slight caramel, hoppy and fruity notes of orange, grapefruit, tropical fruits, melon too. Not bad, bitter type, pleasant and fresh beer.

Grain and cereal malts, wheat, light bread, caramel, biscuit, wet straw. Slightly hazy gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light sweet. More grain and bread malts, wheat, soft carbonation, medium bodied, more biscuit and a light bitterness in the finish. Decent Wheat Ale, well-balanced. Bottle from Muehlestuebli, Steffisburg.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond foamy layer. Fruity and slightly resin-spicy hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit and tropical accents, backed by a mildly wheat-malty touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Mildly wheaty base with hints of caramel, present citric and resiny hops, almost a tad sprucey, leading into a dry-ish and moderately hop bitter finish. Not very complex, nevertheless quite good. 20.VI.16

(bottle) opalescent deep golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of heavy wheat and white pepper, with lots of white grapes, a touch of manure and sugar icing. flavour is mostly caramelized wheat and cactus juice, slightly sweet, with some light notes of strawberries and tangy citrus peel in the slightly minerally finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

SinH4 (15466) - Garching bei München, GERMANY - JUN 20, 2016
Bottle courtesy of anstei. Glowing cloudy golden color with white head. Aroma is oranges, tropical fruits, some wheat. Taste is a bit tangy, more oranges and tropical fruits, sweet, medium-bitter finish, silky mouthfeel. Fine-bubbled ticklish carbonation. Nice, but that spiciness is a bit irritating.

Ritzn (4594) - GERMANY - JUN 20, 2016
Clear amber, gold with little white head. Aroma is melon, peach, and other fruity hops. Taste is surprisingly sweet (sugary, like a Kellerbier) with more bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink. Summery. But the finish is not much else than bitter. Overall good.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, light floaties from transport, low offwhite head. Citrus, peach, banana schnapps or Curaçao aroma. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel, light mealy character. Minerally spice on the palate, fruity and perfumed, slightly sticky finish. Interesting.

Bottle from beers of the world. Pours a pale color. Lots of citrus hop aroma. Well balanced with a strong hop finish. Surprising how nice hop profile mixes with wheat malt. Super good.
