UPDATED: JUL 23, 2015 341ml bottle served at 4 degrees in a flute glass: Pours a dark toned copper body bearing intense fiery highlights, topped by about half a finger of pale beige head. It shrinks to porous layer leaving awesome micro lacing. Its nose is enjoyable and gives roasted malts, sugar cane, banana and cantaloup. You’ll also get a subtle citrus presence (orange) in the back. On the tongue, it’s best described as a toasted malt attack set on a floral hoppy fondation. It feels clean with a light effervescence and leave a subtle hoppy finish. This is yet another excellent product from Le Grimoire and a very aromatic red ale. It has a nice attack and impressive complexity you won’t expect to find and is the perfect match to an old cheddar.

Bouteille 500ml au Marché des Brasseurs. Jolie rousse avec mince mousse beige persistante. Peu de dentelle. Arôme malt et sucre peu révélateur. Miel et malt en début de bouche avec une finition plutôt acre. Bière somme toute un peu décevante.

Karamellig-malziger Geruch. Start Karamell, süßlich. Mitte fruchtig, holzig, Karamell. Abgang röstig, leicht bitter, schokoladig. Solide.

Bottle. Amber, small and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel with light fruitiness - dark fruits. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel - light bread and light fruitiness. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, light caramel and bread. Caramel sweetish amber ale with notes of bread. Lacks character.

Bière cuivrée avec une fine mousse blanche qui retombe très vite. Assez effervescente. Nez de caramel et de malts. En bouche, caramel et miel en premier, très sucrée, puis apparaît des goûts assez acides et acres. Beurk. Mauvaise bière.
