Nose of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, wood, and a lot of bourbon. Full body. Flavor is really rich here with taste matching the aroma. Finishes nicely. This one was really good.

A: Pure black, mocha head, lacing.
N: Vanilla, chocolate, shortbread, marshmallow, earth, caramel, oak, ash, and roast.
T: Sweet but not cloying. Just enough roast/bitterness to keep this one pleasant.
M: Medium-heavy oily body, no alcohol, soft carbonation.
O: Excellent. Balanced beyond belief with plenty of flavors wrung out of the barrel.

Ashy, dark chocolates, some big vanilla bourbon, certainly not over sweet. Very big but smooth. Wow. Awesome brew. Cocoa and chocolate finish.

black as midnight the beer..with a lovely tan head.
Aroma is deep dark yet creamy chocolate, cocoa fudge and turkish coffee.
Taste the same with hints of rum drenched plump raisins.
Mouth feel so luxuriant.
Excellent beer.
