COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
NB! all A&G blends belong under this entry, except blends with honey and vintage labeled. Usually blend of 1 year old, 2 year old, and 3 year old lambic using 100% 3 Fonteinen lambic. The main difference between Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston and regular Oude Geuze is that Armand & Gaston contains only lambic brewed by 3 Fonteinen. In contrast the regular Oude Geuze may contain lambics from various lambic producers (Lindemanns and Boon for example). Note: ABV varies.

commonmac (2289) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 31, 2024
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2024 Corked bottle obtained in a sampler Christmas gift during March Madness. Sediment present. Attractive apricot/tangerine color. Nose is funk, pencil shavings, pepper...something in addition to the funky fruit that I can't put my finger on. Taste has bountiful sour stonefruit. Apricot. Salinity present. Cloying mouthfeel as expected from the style. It's not necessarily my jam but better than I expected. I appreciate trying something in this style from one of the best in the game.

Slightly spritzy mouthfeel with some granny smith apple, lemon, hay, more barnyard funk and musty grape with a dry, slightly puckering finish.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2023 Bottle blend n.60 season 19/20. Orange yellow color with nice minimal smooth foamy white head which stays long. Aroma of sour with some apples, funk, oak and hay. Taste is moderate sour with apples, citrus, oak and earthy notes. Finishes sour. Medium body, fizzly carbonation. Classy, aromatic and more sophisticated gueuze.

abstractic (191) - Bangkok, THAILAND - MAY 6, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 6, 2023 Pours in a hazy orange amber color with almost no head. Lightly carbonated though. A lot of things going on here, but it’s perfectly balanced and delicious. Notes of soft apricot, wooden barnyard funk, almond nuttiness, earthy leather, tingly pines, subtle lemon peel, tiny honey sweetness and it ends with a dry mouthfeel.
