Idiosynkrasie (16052) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - FEB 24, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2020 330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Rather weak, roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma with a smoky touch, hints of dark chocolate and mushrooms, metallic hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally dry, roasty dark malty, slightly chocolately, minimally fruity, metallic overtones, hints of raisin and milk chocolate. Nope.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2019 17/VIII/19 - 33cl bottle @ bottle share pre-Gents Bierfestival, BB: n/a - (2019-1237) Thanks to Steven L. for sharing the bottle! Clear dark brown to black beer, dense creamy bit irregular beige head, stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: roasted, bit malty, dark chocolate, grains. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very nice roast, bit malty, some chocolate, alcohol notes. Aftertaste: more roast, little bitter, some chocolate.

caribou43 (3061) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 22, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2019 This beer is coming from the bierhandlung, Freiburg am Brisgau. Enjoying and rating this beer, at home, Lausanne, Prélaz, may 2018. Deep and black color, normal carbonation for the style, thin white and brown foam. In my point of view, it is a regular imperial stout, it could have more aromas of roasted malt and coffee, smooth at the palate, a bit sticky and creamy some hop, acceptable.

Badylatko (558) - POLAND - NOV 14, 2019

Fin (17267) - Innernzell, GERMANY - NOV 10, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 10, 2019 Bottle picked up from Bierothek, Munich, consumed at home Attenkirchen Sunday 10th November 2019 cooking a Sunday Roast and listening to Pixies - Beneath the Eyrie. Pours black with a beige head, a little dusty but with a liquorice note. Thick in the mouth, lots of liquorice, soft mouthfeel, roasty, good for not being at all cloyingly sweet.

rauchbierlover (3459) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 2, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 2, 2019 Black body with a big foamy and quite persistent beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate, black coffee and soy sauce. Taste is malty driven: caramel, rye bread, chocolate and mild whisky notes. Sweet and peaty finish, quite short. Medium body, soft carbonation, slicky texture

UPDATED: APR 24, 2019 33cl Bottle. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of liquorice, rye, molasses, chocolate, like a Baltic Porter. Flavour follows, quite sweet, just a bit of roast, liquorice and molasses, malt, bittersweet finish, some berries. Medium bodied.

sativa. (396) - Dortmund, GERMANY - APR 6, 2019
UPDATED: APR 6, 2019 Der Geruch ist dunkelschokoladig, malzig. Tiefschwarz, cremige beige Schaumkrone. Dennoch durchaus trinkbar
