I like it! Very nice aroma of fresh raspberries, alcohol, and brady or sherry. A small creamy off white head covers a hazy, peachy, amber body. Decent lacing. Taste starts of sweet and fruity then alcohol and bitterness follow. Medium body with a syrupy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Alcohol is controllable for an after dinner sipper. Will try to get another bottle! From more recent bottles have not enjoyed it, would be more like a 3.2

750 mL bottle purchased at Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Pours clear ruby with a small, fizzy, off-white head, diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (cookie, straw), average hops (grass, flowers), light yeast (dough) with notes of raspberries and alcohol. Medium bodied, oily texture, average carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, acidity and bitterness.

Smells of alcohol. Lovely raspberry taste, fine fruit, and yet a balabnced brew. The sourness from the fruit blankets the alcohol.

Bottle. Drank this over a week ago. Not sure why I’ve been so lazy over entering this. Shared this with a couple people. Poured a blsuhing orange-amber with a small fizzy head. Nose is raspberry puree and raspberry preserves (i.e. a bit sweet). Also some hints of strawberry, for some reason. Taste is raspberry jam blended with some light tart berry notes, light maltiness, and a bit of alcohol. Almost like a cheap wine cooler blended with a soft drink and a shot booze. That sounds bad but it wasn’t nearly as bad as that. Body was medium with a light dryness and moderate carbonation. Finishes with more rapsberry, sweetened fruit preserves, light alcohol and some sweet malt notes. Good, but this might get a bit better with age.

Knightly Spirits, Orlando, Fl. - 750 ml bottle - thanks Jason for pulling this out! Brightly colored orange pour, slightly murky, very slight beady white head. Aroma of ripening fruit, similar to a produce back room at a grocery store, some alcohol. Flavor has hints of nectarines, white grapes, and alcohol. Not quite as complex as expected. High drinkability considering the high ABV earns it a 4 in Palate. Well balanced, but hits you hard later in the evening!

750ml bottle. Bottled on 11/13/06. Poured a hazy reddish purple color. Head was fizzy, off white, and reduced quickly to nothingness. The aroma was reminiscent of pear liqueur with a whiff of raspberry. There was also a molasses note. Sweet and boozy with a definite warming alcohol effect. There was a lot of raw alcohol flavor accented by pear, pancake, raspberry, brown sugar, and a splash of maple syrup.

750ml bottle. Purchased at Chevy Chase Wine and Liquor in Washington DC. Consumed at home in a drunken haze after way to many super brews at the Brickskeller. The brew pours amber with a nice copious head. The hose is all rasberry and smells yummy. The taste matches the nose and is a delicious rasberry concotion.
