COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast. Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2023 12 oz can. Smells of ginger, sweet malt, and a touch of grapefruit. Golden brown with haze. Tastes of ginger, malt, and a hint of bitter hops. Lighter in body, drinks more like a lager. Finishes with a hint of ginger. OK, I wouldn't buy another, but would drink one if offered.

tntracey (412) - Hood River, Oregon, USA - DEC 9, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2021 12 oz can poured into a pint glass. Don't know why brewers feel compelled to add all kinds kinds of weird shit to their IPAs. That said, this one is okay and worth a try.

Foxbush (3500) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 28, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2021 12 oz can from Delta-pie in Deltaville, VA. The ale poured a clear amber color with a small head quickly dissipated. Some limited lacing. The aroma of ginger and pale malts are detected. The taste of ginger is no surprise. This is light refreshing ale for the hot summer. The ale has a light body and soft carbonation.

Bebum (1643) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 6, 2018
Light amber/caramel color, clear, tall, fluffy white head. Aggressive but interesting ginger nose. Light body, flavorful, low heat but high carbonation, long aftertaste, bitter and dry finish. Bitter, spicy bite, dry, crisp. Resinous, hoppy, overwhelmingly ginger taste, fruity in background. Very interesting and refreshing rather than delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
