I love the bottle and overall look but the pale ale is just barely drinkable. I wish it was a better beer, because I love the concept.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 2, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Irishboy. Pours a slight hazy amber color with a thin white head. Has a nice nose to it with some slightly spicy floral hops. Mouthfeel is light. Tastes like a rough around the edges pale ale with some rough caramel malt blending with some hops that don’t seem to be in the right proportion. Overall a nice brew. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 31, 2007 From IrishBoy via trade. Thanks! The pour was clear and light copper with a thin white head that didn’t sustain and failed to produce much more than a spot or two of lacing. The aroma was light, sweet malt with some floral hops. The flavor followed suit with the floral, somewhat earthy hops leading the charge as the malt and pine struggled to gain a foothold. The mouthfeel was forgettable but overall it was a drinkable diversion. kp (8700), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Aroma was mostly malt. Sweet caramel. Poured gold more or less. Flavor was sweet and malty with mild hop bite on the finish. This one was definitley a malt heavy APA. I did not get the hops that the previous rater is talking about. Rather light and boring. Not dry or resiny. Nonetheless, a rather average beer. Nothing distinguishes it as special, but nothing distinguishes it as bad.
