My Bottom Line:
This silky Dark Mild suggests fruity caramel, mineral notes and light acidity leading to a subtle earthy hop aftertaste.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the dark brown, almost black gown.
-Carbonation is very low, which enhances the silky roundness of the mouthfeel.
-This is by no means an exaggerating lean brew for 3.0% abv pint.
-This is easy drinking, obviously.

On cask at The Lord Nelson, Brighton.

On cask, pours a super dark clear cola color with a tan head. The smell is dark roasted malt, licorice. The taste is black malt, licorice, dark fruit with a very dry end. Light in body with mild carbonation.
