| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2006 Pours amber/gold and has a creamy white head. It’s a great looking beer and head-retention is excellent. Aroma is hoppy and malty. It smells really fresh. Taste is moderately hopped and fairly malty as well. I also get a hint of metallic and it’s a bit too crisp for me. For being a session pale, the body is pretty big. All in all, I’d say this is quite good, but not amazing. I’d get it again, but I wouldn’t really seek it out. Cable (286), SE, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 25, 2005 Sampled from bottle. Pours hazy golden-copper with a thin, light tan head. Aroma is spicey/piney hops and some sweet malt. Flavor is nicely bitter with toasted & caramel malts. Flavor hops a bit too resinous. Medium-bodied with pine resin in the finish. I’d rather have a Boulevard Pale Ale. KarmanGhia (276), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 13, 2005 Pours a light amber gold with an offwhite head. There’s a definite citrus quality followed by perhaps a "white grape" bitterness (perhaps apricot) and a bit of caramel (ESB-ish). This is thin for an APA, and it is a bit too acidicly sweet. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 2, 2006 Bottled (with thanks to Slothgar T!) Darker than the average pale, with a coppery color. Quickly dissipated head. Fresh hops on nose (I love the smell of hops!), nice strong but not over-powering hops taste. A bit smoky? Coppery taste in back of mouth on finish. swirl (267), collingswood, New Jersey, USA

Nice head not a pure white more of an eggshell. Lots of hops in the nose, sharp. Strong hops flavor with a hint of dark fruit and malt. rader58 (258), Leawood, Kansas, USA
