Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Hazy orangish pour with very little head. Very bitter scent. Strong bitter taste, too bitter like the taste on your tongue when you put something non-edible in your mouth. Not a fan of this at all. My wife tells me is clover flavoured.

Hazy golden color with a thin white head. Honey, fruit, malt and a touch of hops. Good, but nothing fantastic.

500ml bottle from SAQ into pint glass. pours a pale yellow with a small foamy white head. as soon as the bottle was opened, the smell of hops smacks you in the face. there is some citrus in the aroma as well. taste is bitter, with a grapefruit flavour lingering in the mouth. feels nice on the palate, a good beer but not my favourite style.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with smallish white head. Citrus and floarl hop aromas. A little more subdued than expected but good all the same. Tast is slightly sour and a little earthy. A little thin. Quite easy drinking.

A very nice easy too drink blond beer. The twist of a lemon taste make it a bit fresher too drink. Mostly hops and the lemon in the taste.

Pours clear gold with a small pale-beige head. Smells of citrus, flowers and cloves. Apple and pear fruit sweetness backs quite sharp citric bitterness. Finish is crisp and a little spicy. A good, boldly-flavoured session beer - but just a little too much lemon for my liking.

Bottle from LCBO. The bottle poured a sparkling clear light amber beverage with a small white smooth head that was mostly lasting and left good lacing on the glass. The aroma was primarily malty. There was the presence of lightly toasted grain and notes of bread. There was some evidence of hops in the background but it was subtle. The body was medium to full with a nice level of carbonation and smooth creamy texture. The flavor started off lightly bitter. The finish was long and pleasantly bitter as well.

Armoa of hay, leaves, woody tones. A medium amber colour with slight haze to it. Minimal head. Quite bitter though a relatively light taste. Average carbonation with slightly astringent finish. I was expecting more of an impact, but, nothing ventured nothing gained.
