caribou43 (3069) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 1, 2017I bought this bottle from Bierhandlung in Freiburg am Brisgau. I drank it yesterday at home in Lausanne. In my point of view, it is a correct oatmeal stout, average, better than the American pale ale from the same brewery. The color is black, a little brown, when you open the bottle, the foam goes up quickly, carbonation a bit higher than usual for the style, white and brown foam staying longer than usual. The taste is a bit sour, good notes of oat, roasted malt, some coffee, dry and a bit watery. You have a lot of yeast.

Medium body, slightly creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
