Nez : Malt torréfié, café, chocolat, céréale, lait. Bouche : Malt torréfié, café, chocolat, céréale, feu de bois, lait, fraise, sucre brûlé. Palais : Carbonatation faible, corps moyen, bonne longueur.

Aroma is rather nice with licorice, ashy notes and pot coffee. Flavour has somewhat salty licorice, pot coffee and ash. Also rye bread. Reminds me of Nøgne Ø Imperial Stout. A tad too salty for my taste nowadays but quite good anyway.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2019 Tap @ Gastropub Nordic. Pours dark brown, almost black color with a large beige head. Roasted malty aroma, licorice, subtle caramel and coffee notes, lots of chocolate and a fair amount of hops too. Flavor is chocolaty with subtle licorice saltiness, heavy roasty malt body, some coffee bitterness too, somewhat sticky brown sugary aftertaste. Quite nice and heavy with a good amount of hops too. 5526

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2019 Tap@Nordic, Tampere, Finland. Strong, balanced nuances of overaged dark fruits, some licorice and roasted malts. Lactose wrapping everything up. Wide taste spectrum and long aftertaste with roasted malts and a hint of lactose. Strong/medium body with low/medium carbonation. Overall, nice implementation of the style, especially with this high percentage. Nothing special in taste though. 6 4 8 3 16

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2019 Tap at Gastropub Nordic. A black beer with beige head. Dark malts, roast, licorice, chocolate, caramel, cocoa. Simple IS but pleasant. Full body, oily texture, average carbonation, bitter chocolately finish.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2019 Sampled at Taphouse Copenhagen. High creamy lasting brown head. Pitch black body. Smooth coffee caramel aroma. Mild and smooth creamy roasted malt caramel flavor with litte hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet finish. Well balanced with an alcohol level that is nicely disguised by the sweetness of the beer.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2019 Color negro con espuma de color beige oscuro, retención media. Aroma a cacao, maltas tostadas. Sabor ligeramente dulce, asado, notas a madera quemada y cacao. Final ligeramente amargo, densa en boca, fácil de beber.
