Commercial Description:
This cross-cultural brew was first made at the request of an Irish musical group and was named "Celtic Heaven," but soon became a permanent part of the Serafijn lineup. Similar to a light Irish ale, but but with the intriguing of a spicy, almost perfumed aroma that comes not from spices but from a special Belgian yeast.

Slightly haze-ish orange-amber beer; very carbonated to huge amberish tinted head. Very perfumed nose - nearly aftershave-like (NO - it ain’t me), (roasted) malt, chaff, summer grain, a haystack - but also the maish dregs. Quite hoppy, but not bitter taste, European hops with malty underbuild, bit leafy flavours. Medium bodied, "cobwebs" as you say. After reflexion, this strange name seems to stand for Achilles’ amber try. Far from bad.

Draught at the brewery’s pub.
Poured reddish with a small off-white-tan head. Easy toasted caramel and some malt, mild hop in the nose. Medium bodied irish ale with minimal roasted malt, toffee and toasted caramel tastes, light hop. Easy drinkable one.

Draft at Publick House. Pours a light brown color with a foamy off white head. Nose is light must and some dried fruit and biscuity malt notes. Palate is full with a light fizz and a nice dry finish. Flavors of light dry fruits and some light spicy notes and a hint of must.

Thanks to whomever brought this to Newport Beach Brewing’s Winterfest Bottleshare. This golden pour was forgettable, lacking in flavor and I wound up pouring it out

Tap at Max’s as Achilles Serafijn "Pale". Pours a cloudy orange. Red delicious apples in the nose. Sweet, light-bodied. Some candies. Light Grand Marnier. Some booziness. Not bad.

Draft at redlight redlight. Pours a golden amber. Mostly bubblegum on the nose, which i don’t really mind as it is complemented by hints of a spicy yeastiness. The flavor on the other hand is a huge let down. kind of a stale flavor. not really sure what’s going on but whatever it is i really don’t care for it.

Kens place. Pours a hazy brown murky with some chunks, high carbonation yet thin head. Aroma i sweet malty yet papery oxidation staleness, belgian yeast and phenolic. Flavor is spicy black pepper, yeasty doughy, caramel, toast, light nuttiness and some oxidation- fruity westmalle yeast, light astringent bitter finish.
