What a pleasant surprise this was for a supermarket brew. The sweetness of teh honey complements the bitter dryness of the ale perfectly and sets the taste buds wild.

Bottle, Co-Op, Hoylake. Pours Golden, with dissipating thin white head. Honey and slight lemon aroma. Honey is not too overpowering and strikes a nice balance with the hopiness. This is a solidly refreshing if uninspiring number which honey lovers should dig.

Reasonable malty base with some floral hops and smooth honey flavour. A little sickly to sup many of but not bad.

Sparkling clear gold, thickly headed. Sweet honeyish but not overpowering aroma. Smooth, biscuity and doughy with a faint citrus hoppiness. Rose and malted milk touches. Tasty, well-balanced ale.

Bottled. A light amber coloured beer with no head. The aroma and taste have too much honey sweetness, and this dominates. Some maltiness but no hops of notice. I am not a honey fan and find this beer hard to cope with.
