Pours a copper with brown highlights. Dense, short white head on top. Slow rising bubbles of carbonation take their time floating in the liquid. Attractive looking beer. Fruity, toasted caramel malt, a touch of smoke for aroma. Slightly stale, caramel apples, iced tea flavors. Solid malt body, with some fruity bitterness at the end. Pretty decent ESB.

Draft @ Old Toad, Rochester. Copper red pour. Malt driven aroma, ligt fruitiness, lighter bitterness. Taste was mild bitterness upfront followed by floral fruity sweet malts. Lackinmg bitterness IMO. OK

500 ml bottle. Pours copper in colour, with a smallish white head. Aroma and taste are well balanced crystal malt and earthy, British hops! A great Bitter!

(Rating #2895)

16.9oz bottle, sweet toffee scent leading into a caramel/toffee taste with a hint of chocolate on the aftertaste. Interesting, not what I would expect from a typical English ale

Clear reddish maroon, thin white head. Nicely sweet, grapey aroma. Crisp malty aroma, and flavor. Mild hop bitterness. Myabe I was in a good mood, but I thought was a decent session beer.
