Is a rather smooth, clean, crisp and refreshing beer. Reminds me of Michelob Light. Overall, this is not a bad beer as it is inexpensive and easy to drink. Plus the bottle is a nice deviation from the norm.

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jan 1, 2010 On tap at a hotel in Bloomington Minnesota. Pale yellow, clear, almost no head. Light aroma of grain and grass. Taste is bland and has a hint of grain that was left standing soggy. Thin body with a finish that’s difficult to distinguish from the saliva in my mouth. Not a great pale lager when compared to the Grain Belt Premium that I was consuming concurrently - which was fresh and lively compared with this stale-tasting brew. Hardly swill but far from tasty. | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Nov 6, 2009 Updated: Nov 7, 2009My second beer rating!
I have been saving this one for a special occasion. A friend left this bottle (thanks Maria) after a BYOB birthday party and open house in June of 2005 and today is Nov. 6, 2009. The born on date is May 31 of 2005 and the label admonishes "Freshest Taste within 110 Days." I’ll confess that I chose this old, mediocre beer deliberately as my second rating.
That said, it’s not as bad as I was hoping. Carbonation is weak and didn’t raise but a thin head that was gone in seconds. I had to remove my serious chalice of the Konings Hoeven to the next room before I could detect any aroma, and that was just the ordinary dusty dry light lager thing that all of these beers have. It hadn’t soured or oxidized that I could tell, so I guess that’s something.
The last 11 ozs are headed for the drain, but without the hate I had hoped for to inspire a truly nasty rating. beerme1 (18), , Missouri, USA

Pours light golden color with small white head..unless you shake it. Smells like sweet cream corn. Taste is smooth and goes down easy. Pretty decent for a light. Brewed in Missouri but not distributed as far as I know..what’s up with that? MadIndian (1022), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Of the cheap and light beers, Mich Golden Light is easily my favorite. It has much more flavor to it than the water tasting Miller and Bud Lights. Also, it has a good looking and good feeling bottle. thooper41 (399), Oregon, USA
