Clear dark brown color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090806]

Cask Stillage at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 06/08/2009 Fruity roast aroma. Black smooth on the palate strong in alcohol and hoppy with a little bitterness in a crisp coffee roast finish.

A Mes rate. Cask at GBBF.
Almost black with a decent tan head. Fairly standard chocolate drive porter. Nicely roasted malt, some caramel, plenty of dark fruit. Straight down the line. Standard but decent.
