Commercial Description:
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

(Bottle at a beer tasting in Göteborg on July 4, 2008)
Shady orange color, off-white head. Sticky, green, hoppy to cheeze scent. Bitter, fruity taste. Big bitter lingering aftertaste. Smooth a bit moussy mouthfeel. Big bitterness. Warming alcohol in the stomach.

Draught. Pale ever so slightly hazy copper with some white head. Great floral hop aroma. Smooth creamy palate with gentle carbonation. Flavour dominated by hops all the way from the first taste to the finish. Some fruitiness in the start and plenty of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Overall a great IPA but lacks in subtlety.

12 oz bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, served in an English pint glass. Pours a hazy amber-orange with a small off-white head. Head mostly fades but leaves some lace. Aroma is powerful high-alpha hops, with notes of citrus, pine and flowers. Grain also present, with some spice and a hint of yeast. Flavour begins with a medium-roasted caramel sweetness but quickly becomes intensely bitter through the middle. Bitterness grows towards a long, primarily bitter finish. On the palate, medium in body with a slightly oily texture and soft carbonation. If this brew is about anything, it’s about hops. Hops are beautifully complex and intensely bitter (95 IBU). A good effort is made to balance these hops, but it’s almost a futile task with so much hops. 2010-03-17

A flash of satisfaction becomes reality when this brew hits the pallate. Hoppy bountys explore your mouth while hidden malts settle in softly. Smell is rose bud hoppy with extracts of cinder mixed in. Call it what you will, but this is a great brew. Enjoy!

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Strong hops aroma. Bold hops flavour with a sharp bitter finish - not balanced, but still a beautifully done IPA.

A dark amber IPA with a thin moka head. In aroma, intense c-hops with meaty, menthol quality, salty almost, very earthy. In mouth, A good biscuitty malt with good overlay of grassy pinhey c-hops, intense bitterness, white grapefruits, all sweetness is overwhelmed by the hops....an intense IPA....bottle shared with Probstk, thanks Karl!
