| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2006 Bottled. Sour, floral detergent clean aroma with tart cherry underpinning. Thin redwhite head on red grape body. Much tarter and real than lindemans, still notably quite sweet. A good deal perhaps for an acolyte who noticess the thinness of lindemans but whose palate isn’t yet adjusted to real lambic. Still, wish there was a step further beyond this, because this is still unnecessarily sweetened - there needs to be a further middle ground. I’m not a big fan of the cherry flavor overall and particularly here. Also, it’s barely detectable that this is beer or alcohol at all, it has more of a juice character, it makes little impression on the palate. IT’s a bit thin and one dimensional.
