25 cL bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Dark malty, slight overripe fruity note. Sweet caramel and fruity yeasty flavoured. Light carbonation mouthfeel. Mild and slight crisp bitterness into a medium dry finish with a lasting malt impression.

Dark orange-red, garnet color with two fingers of tight light tan head that leaves a thin coat of lacing and has good retention. Caramel maltiness in the aroma, some cidery notes. Taste is toffees and caramel malts. Light grainy hop bitter finish. Good body.

Medium watery brown color with a creamy tan head. Nice lacing and retention. Aroma has some diacetyl and apple juice along with caramel maltiness. Flavor is English toffee malt with a touch of darker fruits and a nice appreciable earthy hop finish. Not a lot of bitterness, but nice and dry. Mouthfeel has a nice heft to it, with appropriate carbonation and little wateriness. Not bad at all.

Nice amber color and sweet malty aroma. Taste is very malty with some yeast. Just an average English pale ale.

Poured an amber color with an off white head. Aroma was really malty with no signs of anything else. Flavor was much the same, really bland, typical bitter

Taste 9/8 Bottle Looks: Dark copper with a clinging and disappearing head. Body is fairly active. Aroma: Smells of biscuit and various malts. Taste: Biscuit and sour with some dark and sweet malt. Bitter finish. A little floral hops.

12oz bottle: Crystal clear amber pour with a healthy, foam inducing white head. A soft balance of creamy caramel and fruity hops meet the nose. Nothing over the top, nicely balanced, clean and approachable. The fruity hops are more defined on the palate, offering an array of sweet apple, candied orange and floral perfume. A moderate dose of buttery malts balance. Things are a bit muddled, but fit the style. An easy drinker that is well built, but nothing too special.
