UPDATED: MAR 27, 2021 Amberkleurig wazig bier met een witte schuimkraag die snel wegzakt. Rokerig aroma dat qua smaak je echt doet verrassen! Fruitig met smaak van passievrucht, abrikoos en sinaasappel en ook weer de gerookte smaak dat eigenlijk perfect in balans is.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2021 Bottle from 2017. Pours a light yellow, really pale, small head. Aroma is smoke, herbs, grass, floral. Medium to big body. Flavour is actually rather complex, a very interesting malt profile with a pale malt base, lots of (but not too much) smoked malt and light caramel. Lovely. Light herbs, juniper, fruity citrus. Light bitterness and sweetness, nicely balanced overall. Nice! I am not really familiar with Drickas, but this is definitely a very nice Gruit forward beer. Really enjoyable and drinkable despite the abv.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2021 Bottled 18 dec 2017. Pours hazy orange with lots of floating white bits and a quickly vanishing off white head. Nose on smoked bacon and juniper. Smoked malts, bacon, fruit, juniper, a little salt on the palate. Neither sweet nor bitter, good balance. This is my first Gotlandic drink. This is really special and takes some getting used to, but all in all, it is not bad at all.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2020 Helder oranje bruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is fris fruitig zoet en licht bitter met tevens iets van rook, sinaasappel en perzik.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2020 home. 33 cl bottle. Bottled on 10 dec 2017. Small amount of whit foam on a cloudy, pale ale coloured beer. Aroma is light malty, Some smoke, sweetness, Fruity (orange). Taste is sweet (sticky), fruity (orange, melon, peach, apricot). After this alcohol and some bitter upcoming. Smoky.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2019 Tap @ Jopenkerk Haarlem. Pours clear amber color with a small head. Aroma is quite Sahti-like, yeasty, slice notes, faint juniper. Flavor has ripe sweety fruits, yeasty notes, subtle spices, banana esters on the finish. Okay. 5324

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2019 Draught @ Jopenkerk Aroma has smoke and wort - feels like a grätzer! Also sweet malt. Flavour has smoke, wheat, wort and tar. Also minerals and orange juice. Hides the ABV well and is in balance. Like an imperial grätzer this is. Or actually something between grätzer and koduõlu.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2019 Thanks @ MonsterMagnet for sharing (Euro swap 1/2019). Murky orange body with a small, thick, vanishing but good lacing white head. Peaty aroma with notes of honey, green apple, apricots, white melon. Taste is sweet: lots of honey, white melon and caramel. Some juniper as well. Long malty sweet finish. Full body, soft carbonation, oily texture.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 330ml bottle, got this from European Swap 2018/3, thank you MonsterMagnet. Quite clear amber, some white foam there, small thin bubbles. Nose has some buttery smoke, yeast spices and also rye spices are coming out. Tastes super smokey, iburikakko on steroids, I need cream cheese with this one. Light herbal character, low bitterness, smoke and smoke. I do enjoy this one, smoke and light bitterness together, quite enjoyable.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2019 Sample from the bottle at FatPhil's, Tallinn. Color is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Smoke, some tar, some sweetness and malts. Basically smoke beer.
