Clear golden pour white head ... and some lacing .... citrusy hop aroma .... taste of sweet malts and citrusy with a light bitter hop finish ... the aroma of hops kind of fools you on this one because the flavor isn’t very hoppy but its a decent ipa

Bomber. A decent IPA though nothing spectacular. To be fair this was tasted immediately after Alaskan’s Smoked Porter so it didn’t stand much of a chance at a high rating.. (actual tasting was on 2/19 - catching up on a marathon tasting session from a couple weeks back)

22oz. Light in color, aroma is a bit pine, a bit citrus. More carbonation than I ideally like in an IPA but its not excessive. Flavor is hoppy and pleasant but this IPA isn’t as full or robust as I’d prefer. However, I think it would be a decent IPA to slam a bunch of. Not a very high alc% nor is it incredibly rich. Delicious in general and I’ll drink it again, but when compared to other IPA’s its just decent.

Mediocre IPA. Coming from the brewer of some remarkable beers, this one is disappointing. The biggest problem is simply that it’s rather bland. The liquid is a bright gamboge with a rocky slightly off-white head. The aroma is mostly citric with some peaches, probably all from hops. The flavor is relatively dry but lacks any real depth. The hops just seem to fade away too quickly. There’s a bit of bright bitterness initially but the finish is weak and a bit watery. Caramel malt has some presence, but that flavor even gets a bit sour.

Pours clear gold with a thick frothy lasting head. Aroma is grassy, earthy, mild orange, lemon and honey. Taste is a little dull for what I expected, earthy, not very bitter, grape, pear, lemongrass. Medium light body. A let down because I work at a beer store where a ton of people asked if we could get this, which it doesn’t get distributed to Tennessee right now. No wonder a lot of people ask for it, it tastes like it’s made for the masses. Not saying it’s terrible but definitely nothing special.

Very Nice brew.Nice white head that faded quickly leaving nothing behind..good golden colorThe aroma was definately hoppy,with a nice grapefruit and pine tree aroma.The flavor was nicely hopped.Goes done smooth with a nice grapefruit hit in the back,very nice brew,another one from my Alsakan buddy gald he sent me 2 more for later.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Earth and spruce toned hoppiness, a bit forest floor like, some dry malt, crystal?, with a bread y and bitter finish. Decent IPA.
