Small unstable white head. The flavour is nicely flowery, a little sweet for a pils. Reminds me more of a flowery ale than a pils. Bitterness is slightly below average.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 18, 2010 Bottle. Clear, golden body with a frothy, white head. Aroma has notes of caramel, hay, bread, cereal and toasted grain with hints of flowers and vegetables. Slightly skunky. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly sour, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, waterty texture turning sticky in the finish, lively carbonation. Relatively hefty pils with the malts being more forward than the hops. Less bitterness in the finish than other pilseners. Nice enough, but nothing exciting. AmEricanbrew (2238), Washington DC, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 13, 2010 500 ml. bottle. Pours a lasting, tiny bubbled white head, with slight lacing, over a cloudy, yellow (SRM 3) body....nose is bread and yeast, with slight hop spice.....taste is cereal, biscuit, bread, yeast, finishing with light hop bitterness....mouth feel is medium, with spritz from the medium carbonation. Light, refreshing, with all the characteristics of a Pilsner, but all somewhat light to my palate. BJCP 8/2/15/4/6 Zymurgeist2 (68), San Francisco, California, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 28, 2009 My first Pinkus beer. Nice label. I do not feel organic beer has any advantage over normal beer. Some sweetness but also sourdough bread flavors. This is just an average beer with a bland taste. The Pils poured a light straw color with some haze. The head disappeared. This my fourth beer of Christmas 2009. GG (1734), NorCal, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Not real sure how old this bottle was, but it seemed in really nice shape. The beer pours out a clear light golden body sitting under a briliantly white sudsy white cap. Aroma is floral and grassy, with a strong grain base. Lightly sweetened on the palate, bitterness held firmly in check by the sweetness and a clean fruity note comes crashing thru (the yeast perhaps?). Clearly a really nice summer time beer, but hey...I’ll drink what I can get. Allen (1605), Switzerland

Clear pale golden/yellow with a nicely remaining lacing tall white head. Great hoppy nose with hints of sweat, lemon, yeast and resin. Fantastic hoppy taste. Sublime hop profile. Delicate pale malt back. Gooseberries sneaking in. Relatively high carbonation. Long hoppy finish. My kind of Pils. A great beer with remarkable hop characteristics. Thanks a lot pivnizub!
