UPDATED: JAN 4, 2024 Schaum: gut Farbe: ocker trüb Nase: Recht wenig, frisch, bei halbleer dann fruchtiger Richtung Aprikose Geschmack: relat kohlensauer, zitronig auf der Zunge, geht dann Richtung Grapefruit da es relat bitter für ein Weizen ist. Nicht hefebetont oder rund, leicht bitterer Nachgeschmack, Tick Weizen. Bisschen fruchtig auch, Keks. Nicht das typische Weizen, erinnert mich ein bisschen an ein belgisches Sommerbier. Gutes Bier, wenn man kein Weizen will.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2023 Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours a hazy yellow/straw colour with a large creamy white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, wheat, yeast and a touch of pepper. Taste has more bananas and cloves with lots of peppery spice and also hints of bubblegum and lemon. Thin to medium body with a fair amount of carbonation and a sparkly slightly oily mouthfeel. Easy drinking and hides its strength very well. Good Wheat beer.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2023 Eingeschenkt macht 'Der Weizen' eine überragende Figur, die dunkelorangene Färbung mit ihrer ansprechenden Trübung sieht sowas von einladend aus. Die Schäumung fällt recht üppig und cremig aus, zudem hält sie sich bis zum letzten Schluck. Es duftet angenehm limettig und hefig, dazu kommt etwas überreife Banane und eine feine, nicht zu dick aufgetragene Süße. Die übliche Nelkennote ist vergleichsweise dezent wahrnehmbar. Der Antrunk fällt relativ trocken, etwas säuerlich und cremig weich aus. Es ist nur wenig Kohlensäuretätigkeit feststellbar, ein Umstand, der diesem vollwundigen Hefeweizen zu einer schönen Süffigkeit verhilft. Auf geschmacklicher Ebene überzeugt es herrlich malzig und fruchtig, ich werde sowohl an Banane als auch an ausgereifte Birne, Limette und eine Spur Nelke erinnert. Das Glanzlicht dieses großartigen Weizens ist jedoch der zitrisch-herbe Abtrunk, welcher den erfrischenden Faktor nochmals anhebt. Setzt in meinen Augen in Sachen Hefeweizen Maßstäbe!

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2022 Bottle. Lightly hazy orange-gold, decent head. Slight banana nose with a hint of sweetness, a bit earthy. Nice hop balance for the full (but not sweet) body, I prefer this to the overly-sweet Weizen. A bit of lemon on the finish... Nice!

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2022 I have bought this bottle at the drinks of the world, Geneva. Opening and sharing it yesterday, on the way to Froideville, making a stop and this one was welcomed with a yellow, grey and troubled body, carbonated, white foam, perfect with a good cheese, a perfect union between a weiss and an ipa. The taste is full, dry, mineral, well balanced, fruity, sparkling, good hop, citrus.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2022 Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy golden pour, huge frothy off-white head. Long lasting, lots of lacing on the glass. Very nice on the nose, fruity, grassy and floral notes. Clean and crisp. Medium body, average carbonation, lively. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, refreshingly fizzy, goes down nicely. Balanced bittersweet taste with subtle sour notes. Aroma of wheat, grains, grass. Ripe banana, clove. Nice lingering hop character in the background. Floral, perfumy. Minerals. Medium lasting finish, light tart. Quite tasty.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2022 Bottled 500ml. -from Ambasada Zagreb. Unclear yellow coloured, medium to big white head, wheaty bready nose. Wheaty, bready, light yeasty and grassy with notes of banana and discreet spicy. Short dryish finish.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2021 Hazy light yellow body with a mid sited, not very persistent white head. Fruity aroma, not much esters, more on the lemon side. Taste is lemon, bready. Long mineral and citrus finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation, thin texture.
