Commercial Description:
Unfiltered bottle.
Ingredients: Water, Barely Malt, Hops, Yeast.
Christoffel Blond is a bottom fermented golden-coloured beer with a full body, a very balanced taste and a beautiful bitterness due to a generous addition of fresh hop during the brewing-process. The aroma is fruity and has a fresh taste with a pleasant, hoppy finish.

330 ml bottle - pours a slightly cloudy gold with a short lived bubbly white head. Very surprising aroma of fresh and fruity hops along with some sweet malt. Has an almost candy-like aroma. Wonderfully juicy and bitter (for the style, of course). I was surprised by the U.S. west-coast hopping of this one - or at least a hybrid of fresh hops. Saaz and Cascade? This is pretty much the pinnacle of the style. Very well put together. A superb pils - second only to Victory’s Prima Pils. Excellent stuff. I WILL be buying more.

the saleslady highly recomanded this b/c ’it has a lot of bubbles’ right. and right, it’s a great pilsner, what a surprise. cloudy golden with white head, the aroma is fruity and floral with hint of citrus. the flavor is hoppy and malty, very well balanced.

Pour is a murky blond with a small soapy white head. Aroma is some fresh pils hops with a malty backbone. Flavor is more of the same and equal to the aroma. Plenty of dry hop with some malts and a dry chalk finish. Looking at the pour you would not think this would be a good pils but it fits the style well.

Sweet aroma with pleasing fruity and floral notes. Poured a vibrant golden color but very little head. Seemed flat. Light body. The sweetness of the malt was somewhat overwhelmed by the bitterness of the finish. This one just didn’t taste right at all. It may have been stored improperly or at improper temperatures. This beer just didn’t meet expectations for me.

2005 12 oz. bottle purchased at Blue Max in Burnsville, MN shared with tjthresh. Pour is a cloudy yellow gold. Aroma has hops and quite a bit of malt. The taste was very big, hops, malt and an almost syrupy sweetness. Would love to try this fresh as a comparison, but this was a very interesting brew.
