UPDATED: MAY 24, 2023 Bottle. Hazy yellow colour with a mediumsied white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, some tropical fruits, mild biscuits and some wooden tones. Flavour is fruity, grassy, nectary and wooden tones with some bready and biscuity tones as well.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2022 (Bottle) Pale golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Hoppy, malty nose with notes of passion-fruit, lime, resin, grass and a touch of sponge cake. Hoppy, slightly malty taste with passion-fruit, lime, pineapple, grapefruit, resin and a generous citric/resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Lots of hops, but a bit harsh, with hops overshadowing the malt. Generous bitterness, but a bit unbalanced. Still, quite nice.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2020 Fruity-hoppy. Pineapple, tangerine (peel), citric and piney. And a little funky.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2019 Hoppy and herbal with strong pine notes. Lemon zip with a bitter lemon finish. Decent hop forward pale.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2019 Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Nose is full of tropical fruits, lemon juice and some pine. Light to medium body, lightly carbonated, medium high bitterness. Taste is fruity, both tropical and citrus fruits, bittersweet, a little bit malty, some pine hints in the background. Aftertaste is rather long, more bitter than sweet, piney. A very good drink, light, sweet and bitter, fruity, very balanced, awesome to drink cold. Great beer.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2019 Avec un houblonnage à cru avec du Galaxy, cette Mackaper, bien que relativement simple est relativement simple, n'en est pas moins agréable avec des arômes plaisants et un bon équilibre. L’houblonnage à cru permettant en effet de donner un bon relief et une agréable fraîcheur à L'ensemble. L'alcool, à 6% aurait tout de même gagné à être poussé car celui-ci est quelque peu poussif, et ce, notamment sur le final. En verre le blond jaune paille légèrement voilé n'est pas désagréable. Aucune mousse n'y est présente. Le nez est sur un houblon franc, bien soutenu par l’houblonnage à cru et avec des arômes de pamplemousse, d'ananas, de mangue et de camomille. L'attaque présente une amertume franche, bien porté par l’houblonnage à cru et une légère acidité. Côté arômes, ce sont banane, mangue, pamplemousse avec une pointe de poivre. La deuxième bouche est plus ample avec un beau contraste entre base maltée aux accents de miel et l'amertume racée. L'arrière bouche appuie ce contraste, celle-ci étant sur une amertume plus vive, herbacée et sur le pamplemousse. On retrouve cette amertume accompagnée d'une pointe de poivre sur le final qui aura du mal à tenir la distance malheureusement. Beau travail sur l’houblonnage à cru qui aurait peut-être mérité d'être un peu plus soutenu. Bière agréable.

The aroma is quite fruity, sort of sugary, with tropical notes, pine cones, resins and a faint touch of pale malts. The flavor has a nice bitterness, with pine cones, resins and citrus zest up front. Some sugary malts in the back. Medium to full body and a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish with a good piney bitterness. 181231

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, orange, pine and hint of tropical fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long dry, citrus, grape and piney finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
