330mL bottle. Pours clear dark amber with a thin covering of bubbles. Aroma of banana, apple, spices, alcohol and other volatiles. Sweet flavour of honey, plums and bananas with some fruity acidity and sourness. Medium bodied, average carbonation with a short acidic finish.

Bottle. The aroma is malty, light alcoholic, reminds me a little bit of a strong red wine. The head is medium large, creamy and beige with a long duration. The body is dark red. The taste is malty, light sweet, some wine, very nice. The body is medium strong, creamy and light dry with a lively carbonation.

33cl bottle. Hazy red color with a small white head. Aroma has sweet apple and malt. Taste is sweet with apple, malt and in the end a soft bitterness with a nice apple taste at your cheeks. The mouthfeel is soft and the drinkabilty is very good. A very nice brew.

Big score, big taste/flavor/aroma/mouthfeel. This is the first non I(however many I’s)IPA very high rated beer that I’ve liked. It wasn’t too much like a IStout or crazy and complicated like a barleywine. Perhaps that was misspeaking though. IT definitely was complicated. But in a I’m getting notes of a lot of flavors here and its making me think and try and place it all. It had more of a natural progression that the flavor bomb that can dominate a wee-lad like myself.
