This is a quality act. Brian was awesome enough to let me sample two different versions of this new brew ... the one that I liked better (and I think the one he’ll use) had a nice subtle fruit flavor riding over the top of an excellent American wheat. Think he’ll score huge with this. thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 10, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foam with a frothy top fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that was mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy typically carbonated yellow colored body and a good lacing. The strange aroma was malty and dirty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops and strange fruits. An OK brew just nothing special. It was not as bad as I was expecting. FatPhil (3734), Espoo, Finland

Woh! Peach aroma. Peach taste. Some hoppy finish. A bit of a joke. The "A touch of" is a perfect demonstration that the Americans are in fact masters of irony. Clean? As clean as a vat explosion in a sugar factory. BeerandBlues2 (3322), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Pours hazy yellow with an average, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, hay, cereal), light hops (citrus), average yeast (dough, earth) with notes of peach. Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness. SledgeJr (3312), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Pours a cloudy gold color with a white head that lasts until the last drop. Fragrant aroma of peaches and yeast. Outstanding blended flavor that seems perfectly balanced. I for one do not like "fruity" wheat beers and usually do not rate them very high. This beer has no mistakes. It is one of those beers that is so easy to drink that you look at your glass and say, "What happened to my beer?" There is no seed-like off flavor, no medicine off-flavor. This is not overtly sweet. The peach aroma and flavor are present, but not obnoxious. I love this beer and am happy to have encountered a fruity wheat that I can get excited about. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA

Aroma is spot on fresh peach. Taste, although light, is not surprisingly peach. Nicely carbonated and fresh tasting. I like the fact that the fruit doesnt have a medicinal taste. hotstuff (3196), Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 5, 2006 Bottle. Small white fizzy head that mostly diminished with poor lacing, hazy, carbonated, and a straw yellow hue. Nose was sweet, peachy and mildly citrus. Flavor was sweet, peach and somewhat acidic. Tingly palate. Light body. GeneralGao (3162), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 19, 2006 12 oz bottle. Attractive hazy yellow color with bubbly wheat that dissipated to a thin film relatively quickly. No lace was left behind. Fresh peachy aroma with a hint of bread dough. Tart and citrusy on the tongue with subdued lemon and peach flavors. A little buttery at the end. Pretty good, but doesn’t beat Pyramid Apricot.
