Pours black with creamy but thin tan head. Aroma is noticeable from several feet away. Its toasty, roasted, chocolate, earthy, beef jerky, and some sweetness but more lighter malt aroma than expected from a stout. Its a nice aroma but it doesn’t seem to fit the style. The flavors are smooth and dry. Roasted coffee and sweetness that is toffee like. Oatmeal and a strong bready feel lend to a nice sweet and dry finish where the roasty malt lingers.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Dark brown, almost black with a small, beige head. Milk, good roast, molasses, caramel. On the sweet side, as expected from the style. Still nice with good complexity.

This beer is very pleasant, poors black to deep brown in color. The head leaves alot to be desired thin and gone quick. What it lacks in apperance it makes up for in taste.A nice balance between the classic stout flavor and a earthy oat note.Rich, robust and malty.

On tap at Beer Temple. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and good coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, light sweet, light chocolate, coffee, but all very subdued. Medium bodied, soft and smooth mouthfeel. Easy drinking stout, not shocking, but just nice and decent stuff.
