Its toasty, roasted, chocolate, earthy, beef jerky, and some sweetness but more lighter malt aroma than expected from a stout. Its a nice aroma but it doesn’t seem to fit the style. The flavors are smooth and dry. Roasted coffee and sweetness that is toffee like. Oatmeal and a strong bready feel lend to a nice sweet and dry finish where the roasty malt lingers.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 26, 2010 This beer is very pleasant, poors black to deep brown in color. The head leaves alot to be desired thin and gone quick. What it lacks in apperance it makes up for in taste.A nice balance between the classic stout flavor and a earthy oat note.Rich, robust and malty.
