Appearance: Pours out an effervescent, clouded, rustic orange body with a large, lasting, oh-so airy, white head.
Smell: Soft, sweet-toned barley with a hint of honey-coated cookies and fresh Also some notable notes of both spice and flowers.
Taste: Ah, the gentle taste of sweetish barley featuring notes of cookie crumbs, white bread, and wildflower honey. Hint of orange and lemon citrus flavors begin the emerge. Slight, slender florals welcome in a light spiciness though very, very little bitterness. Finishes quite crisp and somewhat sweet.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Well carbonated.
Drinkability: Keenly drinkable like the standard version, though, I would say this is just a tad sweeter. Usually, Saison Dupont is my go-to beer for Thanksgiving dinner, but I thought I’d mix it up a bit this year. It all worked out well, I’d say.

Mar 14, 2010 Bottle from Total Wine in Naples, FL. Pours straw gold with semi effervescent carbonation and white head. Nice aroma of lemon, burlap, hay, and yeast. Lighter side of medium bodied with fine spritzy carbonation. Flavor of pale Belgian malts, yeast, clove, and spice. Not very acetic or lactic, but definitely has some wild traits. Very sessionable

Mar 11, 2010 Bottle at home. Pours a cloudy golden color with a creamy white head. Aroma of fruits, malt and sugar. Flavor is bitter with some sourness and a fruity sweetness. Slightly stingy and slightly out of balance. Lively carbonation and a creamy texture.

Mar 9, 2010 Updated: Mar 14, 2010375ml bottle. Poured opaque yellow/orange with a small white head. Aroma: citrus, musty with passing notes of alcohol as it warmed. The taste had citrus, spices and Belgium yeast with a mild bitterness in the finish. Medium carbonation. Very good body. I thought it was great.

Feb 25, 2010 "Vibrant golden yellow body with a sizable head and good lacing. Faint aroma of grass, citrus and yeast. Light on the palate with a slightly empty finish. Mildly fruity with a lemon flavor followed by plain biscuits and a small amount of noble hops. A touch yeasty, but overall kind of lackluster for a Saison."

Feb 17, 2010 Great and very typical Belgian blonde. The aroma is just like you would expect and the appearance is wonderful. The taste is a tad more bitter than normally for this kind of beer. It has some acidic notes as well. An extra point for being organic.

Feb 15, 2010 Bottle in our NYC hotel room during Chinese new year. Pours a hazy lightly browned amber with a thin white head that vanishes very fast. Lightly sweet caramel musk, a touch of barnyard and lemon. Medium bodied, big carbonation, light caramel and a bit of bitterness. Finishes up with a bit more sweetness, musk, and bitterness.

Feb 15, 2010 Pours a murky yellow color with a small white head. Not a very attractive beer. The aroma is light funk with some strong citrus lemon notes. The flavor is lemon, funk, Belgian yeast and some nice sweetness. A relatively funky saison. Medium carbonation and medium mouthfeel.
