Commercial Description:
Saaz Blonde is brewed according to the Belgian tradition but with Czech Saaz hops. It has a light colour with a blonde head. The flavour is fruity, contrasted by the dryness of angelica, clove and coriander. The aroma is rounded by a pine needle character from the Saaz hops. The finish has a moderate bitterness. Enjoy at 5-7 degrees Celsius.

Bottle, in GB. Dark golden with white head, quickly disappearing. Aroma moderate malty (coriander) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, lively carbonated, long duration. Medium body, oily, the alcohol is felt.

Orange with a huge head.Aroma of yeast, spices and grassy hops. The flavour is sweet with notes of peach, orange, spices and alcohol. Comes with one of the most beautiful beer glasses ever produced.

Pours dark amber with good head size and retention. Pleasing aroma of hops and malt. On the palate this one resembles PU but lacks the skunk and has less Saaz dominance. This one is also much maltier in flavor, so maybe that is what is taming the Saaz. Very drinkable beer with about any food. Very smooth. Could qualify as a nice crossover beer for macro drinkers looking to try something of better craftsmanship.

Golden colour, creamy white head a little lacing. Aroma is malty, very much so and that’s a disappointment. Thre is some hops, but very discrete. Flavour is mild, again malts, lemon and actually the alcohol sticks out in a way that is disturbing. Mouthfeel is average, crisp. Not worth the hype.

05-OCT-2005, bottle @CPH airport. Golden, light almost white head. Yeasty nose, nice. Weisse-like but stronger. Oranges, slight bitterness, medium carbonation, and alcohol level is OK. Fine beer.
