A watery malt and caramel smell barely escapes the glass. Flavor is watery as hell. I am guessing this would only be good on a hot as hell day when you just finished mowing the lawn. Meh. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 17, 2010 Very clear light golden color with tiny head. Aroma was very faint and grainy with small hop presence. Taste was very light yet bitter as crap and kind sour. Pallet was nice. Overall not too bad for such a low % beer but really didnt do it for me. CampesinoTino (85), Fremont, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 12, 2010 Updated: Feb 1, 2010Bomber. It pours light golden and has sea foam like head. The taste is very bitter with a strong barley flavor and a refreshingly sour finish. I admire Anchor’s attempt to make a quality light beer especially considering that most microbreweries seem to be trending toward double and triple ales and stouts with insanely high ABVs. 6ROW (291), corpus christi, Texas, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Dec 31, 2009 22 oz. bottle. Shared with Gabe. Pours a thick white head, with some lacing, over a clear light amber (SRM 8) body....nose is light toffee, biscuit.....taste initially light toffee then lingering medium bitterness...mouth feel is medium as is carbonation. This is a very interesting beer, light in many characteristics, except for the somewhat uni-dimensional bitterness. This would be a great beer on a hot day. aetheon (68), Beer Dungeon, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 27, 2009 nice medium golden color, smallish head and fair amount of lacing. medium carbonation as well. Flavor is a bit different than most beers, not much malt comes thru at all, even tho the hops are not overly strong they present most of the flavor which is very earthy with notes of cardboard and pine. Overall the beer is alright, I might drink it again, but I prefer most of the other Anchor beers over this. Oh and I would not agree that it is similar to a bitter as they state. kidmartinek (1018), austin, Texas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 23, 2009 A light clored beer with a 1 inch white foam head that lasts. Arma is of bitter hops and noble englidh malt. Flavor has n malt backbone, just unending bitterness. But not the kind you like. Watery palate. Headache finish.
