big bottle. Pours a rich mahogony color nicely conditioned with an estery aroma that has some toffee notes. Rich heavy mouthfeel and body that starts malty and toasty sweet, that turns to a floral mellownessl. finishes smooth and malty with notes of toasted caramel. pricey but worth a try.

All the hype had me excited. Big bottle, and pricey. Pours a med to heavy deep brown/mahogony. Aroma of tofffee and subtle oak and bourbon. Starts sweet and caramelly with some vanilla and nutiness. finishes semi-dry with very minimal floral hop. Left a little for more to be desired but worth a try.

Bottle. A ruby beer with a big beige head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, brown sugar, fruits and bourbon, so is the taste. Medium to full body with a light dry finish.

Bottle. [Courtesy of henrikb] Huge creamy beige head that really lasted. Muddy brown color. Caramel, grain, toffee, nutty, raisins, date, wood - oak, vanilla, brown sugar and some bourbon notes as well. Very complex aroma. Full bodied with an alcoholic texture and somewhat thick texture. Moderated sweet flavor with light bitter notes. Sweet and warming bourbon finish. Excellent beer, thanks Henrik B.

75 cL bottle thanks to henrikb. Pours dark brown/amber with a light off-white head. Malty aroma with a hoppy whiff. Somewhat chemical alcohol aroma, bourbon I guess I should call it. Flavour is dark malty, alcohol and liqourice. Dry flavour. Nice

Bottled. A hazy red-brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw, fruit, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with a thick malt presence and notes of nuts, straw, and caramel.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of henrikb. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Distinct bourbon aroma. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, lightly sweet caramel and again these distinct and wonderful bourbon notes. Dry finish with a subdued bitterness. Excellent. 070907
