Commercial Description:
Brewed with 100% Organic ingredients, this golden elixir has a strikingly fruity and honeyed aroma. The palette is spicier than the aroma shows yet the fruitiness won't be outdone. This beer finishes long and dry with a wonderfully complex character. This beer is served very cold, we recommend letting it warm slightly to bring out its complexity!

750mL bottle courtesy of kmweaver. Thanks Ken! Dark hazed gold, monster off white head. Lemon meringue and powdered pears aromas ride soft undercurrents of spiced bread and hay. Juiced lemony fruit and spiced yeast balance well on a soft honey caramel backbone. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A nice rendition coming from PA...

On tap at the brewpub. Crispy apple-crust and cracker aroma, heavy with a spritz of lemon zest and some air freshener. The yeast may be coming on a little heavy. Clear, tall-white-headed golden pour. Flavor is okay, but washes out and gets a little tannic and biting. This is served overly warm. I want more chewy malt and more juicy yeast character, but it gets a little minerally and metallic too soon. Lots of pilsener malt character, but not enough balance. Alcohol gets a touch bristly. Otherwise, this is a fine golden, but it might behave better at 60% the gravity. Needs softness.

On tap at Capone’s. My first Bullfrog, and it’s a treat! Lovely pour, like cider but with a frothy carbonation. The nose is sweet and yeasty, like a Belgian blonde with some candied malts. Body is pretty hefty, and dangerously drinkable. Tropical fruits come in as you get further into the brew, with some straw and yeast in the dry-ish finish. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange/amber with a big fizzy off-white head. Aroma was fruity with citrus, yeast, light caramel, and some spicyness. Flavor is similar to aroma with a light to medium body and is heavily carbonated with a funky tartness.

Had a small sample of this one from JW77 at the CCB BA Bolita release party. Pours a hazy straw yellow to light golden color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of ripe fresh fruit, yeast, some light candy sugar, light caramel, some hints of spice. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of candy sugar, light banana and floral hops, honey, light caramel, and hints of bread. Generally medium body with a pleasing floral finish.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a hazy gold with white head. Aroma is tart, some barnyard, nice! Flavor is semi sweet, citrus, funk, malt. Mouth feel is light-medium body with high fizzy carbonation. Over all, good stuff!

25.4 oz bottle. Pours mostly white foam that slowly collapses leaving a craggy headscape atop a hazed honey brown. Lovely lacy swirls. Nose is yeast and pastry dough with a touch of citrus peel. Smooth yeasty body with zingy carb. Taste an interesting mix of banana and citrus. Light spice; dryish. A wonderful Belgian take but still unique.
