Draft at O’Brien’s. Dark brown pour with a decent head. First aromas were fruit cocktail. Then I could smell the roasty malts. Flavors were actually very porter, but not much chocolate. Decent dusty finish to the roasty and slightly burnt malt flavors. Not bad

Tap @ Toronado. Pours coffee brown with a small off white ring. Nose had kind of a weird sour tinge to it, not sure what that was all about. Flavor was nice, some chocolate and roasted malts.

Ont tap at pizza port carlsbad. Very chocolaty. Sweet cocoa powder, milk chocolate, and some hints of malt. Simple and a little bland to be honest. Not very good.

On tap @ 1702 - Pours a dark brown color with a small light tan head. Nice layered lacing all the way down the glass. Aroma is roasted malt and very light chocolate. The flavor has just a tad more chocolate to it. Finish is slightly bitter. Medium body. A decent beer, but there are better chocolate beers out there.

Robust chocolate color with thin head. Easy roast and cocoa aroma with a nice vein of chocolate and alcohol. Quite palatable and balanced with appealing nuances of roastiness. Moderately complex.
