This was horrible. Good thing I was at a beer fest when I tried and I only had an oz or so.

Bottle. A - Light straw yellow color. Bubbly, foamy white head. Disappears fast and leaves just the slightest lace. S - Sweet grain, mostly corn. Slight grassy smell too. Mostly sweet. T - A lot of sweet grainy taste. A bit of grassy and floral hops. Kind of like a hoppy and sweet adjunct lager. M - Light body and decent carbonation. Somewhat watery and fizzy. D - Easy to drink with the mouthfeel. Flavors easy to drink and pretty inoffensive, but not a beer that I would search out. Summer beer that would be a good replacement for something like Corona. A little too sweet to be all that drinkable. Notes: A lot like a Macro/everyday lager. Not a great beer, but decent compared to things like Corona, which it taste like. Unfortunately that is not really what I look for in a beer.

Can at home. Pours a clear pale golden color with almost no head. Aroma of cardboard with some faint malts. Very watery flavor with some artificial malty sweetness that is not very interesting. Very boring beer.

Can. Golden beer with a fizzy/fluffy light head. The aroma is citric and sweetly yeasty, and the flavour is bitter, lightly citric and gently yeasty. Overall a reasonable blond style beer.

Canned. Golden with a large scummy white foam. Aromas are grain and butter with corn. Flavours are gritty light grain with corn and hints of metal. Some strange soapiness, too. Has no redeeming factor whatsoever. Terrible.

50cl can with an ABV of 4%. Grolsh jumping on the 4% ABV lower strength bandwagon in the UK market - way behind Stella and Becks. Straw coloured with a loose off-white head and lots (and lots) of carbination; stale grainy aroma; lack lustre in the mouth, soft and soapy with corn syrup flavour and some short-lived herbal bitterness. A complete let-down alongside regular Grolsch.

500 ml can. From Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Clear golden colour with foamy white medium-size head. Mushrooms and some sweetness in weakish aroma. Same with the flavour. Some dryness.

Bottle. A very sweet aroma, malty and some glue. The white head is foamy, medium large and with a short duration. The body is pale yellow. The taste is quite bitter and metallic with a medium long finish. The beer is light with a soft carbonation and a dry body.

500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear pale yellow gold with tiny, disappearing white head. Sweet cloying aroma of corn and grass with maybe a touch of fruitiness in there. Taste is marginally better - a little less sweet than the nose, more dry really. Light body. Not a drain pour but pretty weak.
