Kauge (2508) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 30, 2017UPDATED: DEC 25, 2017 Bottle. Black with ruby glare. Light beige head. Lace not very sticky, kinda ugly. Cat peey resiny super fruity and roasty, exactly the way I like my BIPAs. On the nose there’s also this slight creamy hint. Considerably bitter, silky and light on the palate, a bit of finishing harshness from the resiny hops.
Edit. Another try, BB 17.08.2018 - I think it's the same batch as before. I stand by my words, except for the 'slightly creamy' hint on the nose. Good stuff.

jookos (8663) - FINLAND - MAR 31, 2017bottle, arkadia. black. did it wrong - opened & poured, got caught in something else, came back 30min later. ..so I assume I missed any initial fruity hop punch, right now it’s all piney roasty, but with a nice intensity. ..which does present quality, for a beer sitting idle this long. anyways, pine light green citrussy, light metallic notes. roasty, not totally dry ashy, but thereabout. med bodied, light rubbery roasty. thought it would be harsh bitter roasty, turns out kinda nicely finishing, deep, flavourful. liking it. not massively, but could well have another. theres a slight sweet milkychocolate thing far in the finish that kinda lures one for another sip. and one after that.
