The amber coloring is dark, almost so dark that it drifts out of amber and into just plain brown. Watery nose with a hint of roasted malt, but not much there. Taste is similar - not displeasing but the toasted malt flavor exists only as a very subtle undercurrent to the flavor. As expected, better than your average macro, but a macro nonetheless.

A - Amber/Deep redish brown. Slight head that disappears pretty fast.
S - Not much smell but some malt, that’s slightly toasted.
T - Slight sweetness from a caramel and toasted malt. Also a little nutty. Very slight hop flavor.
M - Medium body. Somewhat smooth and creamy.
D - Easy to drink, and fairly enjoyable for what it is.
Notes: This was something that I thought was a good beer when I first started. Seems like a good stepping stone beer.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 6, 2010 I’m not sure that I could call this a Bock beer. Pours a light/medium brown, but is extremely smooth and a very light taste. The drink is very weak for what it should be. ExpendableHero (74), Florida, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 2, 2010 Not bad at all, considering Michelob is usually terrible. Pours amber-brown, minimal white head. Smells like regular macros, bitter aroma. The taste is slightly malted, a bit sweet, but very watered down. Very carbonated too, much better than Michelob Ultra. william146 (71), Winterville, North Carolina, USA

Disappointing; no real flavor to speak of. basspro76 (271), New York, USA
