COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The warm weather of summer makes this beer a big hit. It is not as heavy as our other beers, nor is the hop flavor overpowering. This style of beer originated in Germany and contains nearly equal parts barley and wheat. A completely different strain of yeast is used to produce some of the esters that taste like banana.

Sampled at the brewery. Aaahhh! Served with a lemon. Sampled after lemon removee.g. The aroma is a strong German yeast character, clove, banana. The flavor is yeasty, doughy, slightly tart. Thin mouth feel is thin. Solid overall.

on tap 7/21/10. the best beer i had while here. hazed yellow color with a slight brown tint. it’s topped with a creamy soft white head and spotty foam. lots of banana on the nose along with dusty wheat, cloe-y spice and a touch of lemon. the flavor is quite similar.... creamed bananas with vanilla, wet dusty wheat and cloves. medium bodied though the mouth feel is creamy and lux. 6/3/7/4/15/3.5

Draught. Pours hazy yellow with a small, frothy white head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw, meal), light hop (flowers), average yeast (dough) with notes of banana and clove. Light bodied, slick texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Hazy yellow. Aroma is very wheaty, lesser notes of bananas, lemons and grass. Lighter bodied but still enjoyable.

Colorado Road Trip – 2006] Hazy wheat ale with malt that had a very good flavor. I liked the beer very much. This is a very good after work or hot day beer.
