| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 7, 2005 I’m a little afraid. I found this in the back of my local dep’s beer fridge. Just one bottle. I think, "Hey, I’ve never reviewed a busch!" Now I am looking at the un-opened bottle. IT’s brewed on contract by labat. The label is stained, the bottle is dirty, and the cap is giving me an anoying amount of resistance. Well let’s try this out. Phissst. Aroma is sour corn. That can’t be right. It’s probably spoiled. If it is, feel free to erase this if it is. Pours the clasic pale yellow, perfectly clear slightly yelowish off white head. On to the taste, HEY, it’s not spoiled. Palat is kinda silky low carbonation and a little dry. Taste is actualy lovley. Clean crystal malt dominates, much maltier than most macro-lagers. Corn and grassy hop dominate the rest of the flavour, with undertones of cantaloup, fresh tomato, floral hops, parsley juice, pear and golden corn syrop. Finish is sweet and dry, with aftertaste of fresh corn and bean sprout. Wow, that was lovley. Bottle lasted as long as it took me to write this. I guess from looking at my own words, I would have to say this tastes like a fall harvest. Cheers

A - Light, pale straw yellow. Light, white, tall frothy head.
S - Bit of grain (corn) and some metallicy smells. Not much there.
T - Thin and light malt. Mostly corn taste. Typical to the style.
M - Light, thin, high carbonation.
D - Easy to drink, like most of the beers in the style.
Note: another one in its style. Nothing special about, it has its purposes, but for me those purposes don’t come around much anymore. GMUcrew7 (394), Mason, Ohio, USA

| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Feb 11, 2010 12 oz can. Aroma of adjunct grain. Smells cheap. Pours yellow with a medium head which dissipates, leaving a collar of foam and surprisingly good lacing (for this style, anyhow--it’s really nothing to write home when comparing to quality beer). It disappears halfway through the glass, though. Taste is blander than most macros, if that’s possible (??). Watery, thin body, low carbonation. One of the worst macros I’ve ever had, hands down. beernovice39 (449), South Carolina, USA
