Mar 16, 2010 Growler courtesy of The Cheeseman in the mystery swap. Pours a clear ruby hued brown with a medium sized tanned beige head. Caramel, a bit of toast. Pretty empty overall, not offensive or anything but just lacking so much that makes a good porter, well…good. Finishes with more watered down roast flavors and caramel. Mediocre. But, my first Mississippi beer.

Feb 15, 2010 Pours a lacing tan head with a clear, not too dark brown, but dark brown body. Aromas of roasted malt and brown sugar. Flavor is roasted malt and brown sugar. Finish is smooth, oily, lasting.
