Svesse (14197) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 7, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2021 (Bottle) Hazy amber colour with brief, foamy, off-white head. Hoppy nose with resin, grapefruit, mango, passion-fruit, caramel, honey and alcohol. Hoppy, slightly vinous taste with notes of resin, grapefruit, mango, passion-fruit, bitter orange peel, caramel, honey and a generous resiny, citric bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Lots of resiny hops, on the sharp and boozy side. A bit unbalanced, still quite nice.

PanMarek (502) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 11, 2018
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2018 Cloudy, reddish brown pour with thin foam. Strong touches of citrus hops in the nose and sweet caramel hops. The flavors are strong, bitter citrus hops, some grass, and a malt back. Strong alcohol pushed the bitterness too far for me. A little too muscular. July 2012

12oz bottle to tulip with 10abv/80ibu. Pours clouded orange copper, beige foam head, heavy sediment. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, mango, fig, onion, booze, pizza dough, white pepper. Taste of same with good caramel malts. Excellent thick syrupy body. Good blend of hoppy fruit, spice, bitter and sweet. Balanced for a hop bomb. Pretty boozy finish...typical for a 10.0%

Chudwick (4909) - Northern, Kentucky, USA - OCT 24, 2016
12oz bottle of an ABV of 10.0% per the bottle along with 80 IBUs. Nose is citrus and paint stripper. Sip adds floral notes, booze, and flatness. I suspect this is old but te bottle is not able to confirm this. This is not that hoppy and kind of flat. I see a few floaties which my help my argument. Should rerate with something clearly fresher than this.

It’s a little light in its appearance doesn’t look as much like other imperial IPA’s. That being said I really like this beer. It’s got great hop presence on the front end, but wonderful fruitiness on the back end. I think for a beer meant to be complex, it’s a bit simple, but it’s so well balanced and incredibly enjoyable to drink. Big fan.

Little head and lacing. Hazy orange color. Citrus hop aroma similar to hopslam, however when tasted does not finish nearly as well. Has strong alcohol bite. Overall good imperial IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

chinchill (6216) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 30, 2016
12 oz bottle with a bottling date of 17 May 2016. Hazy orange-amber body with a very good, off-white head. Patterned sticky lacing left on the glass. Aroma: quite fruity, mildly pungent, reeking of "citrus hops". Flavor: largely follows the aroma. Moderately high bitterness; Hints of spices and soft ripe fruits. Feel: Medium body and medium+ carbonation. Overall: a drinkable hop bomb with high but partially hidden alcohol.
