Commercial Description:
A robust renovation of the India Pale Ale. Assertive dry-hoppying provides an aromatic telltale nose, indicative of the bitter symphony to follow. Bold hop character with lively grapefruit and citrus notes. 20° Plato, Alc. 9.4% by Vol.

Without being overbearing, a nice flavorful IPA that one ups the regular Mad Hatter. Lacking intensity of many Imperial IPAs and that is a good thing. Tasty.

Bottle. 25.4 oz. Split with James. Pours shiny, cloudy amber-orange with a thick, two-finger white head. Nose is powerful and sweet; vanilla, barley, dry hops, caramel, honey, and citrus. Awesomely crisp, yet still deliciously smooth palate and a nice moderate body. Finish is clean, tasty, and refreshing. Excellent Imperial IPA.

22 oz capped bottle: translucent orange gold with a large bubbled ivory cream. Leaves a thick lace in several areas. Fresh grapefruit aromatics: the resins seem to be wafting through the air. Slightly gritty palate, sugary. Grapefruit and honey sweetness on the palate, with a well balanced bitterness. Really a delicious flavour. Sticky hop belches. Did I mention this bottle was 3.99 at Whole Paycheck...what a deal.

Bomber poured a clear tarnished copper with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, pine, citrus and some light floral notes. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, pine, grapefruit and light orange with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

22oz bottle from the wine and cheese shop. Pours a hazy orange amber with a big fluffy off white head, great lacing. Nose was full of citrus, pine and sweet caramel malt. Flavor is quite hoppy with citrus and again, a ton of sweet malt in the background. A pretty tasty IIPA.

clear copper/orange color, small off-white head, quite lacy. nose of floral and citric hops, touch of maltiness. flavor has lots of grapefruit hops, with a slight malty note underneath. medium bodied, nice lingering bitter finish. a respectable iipa, well-worth trying again.

Bomber from Archer Liquors. Pours amber copper with a foamy off-white head. Lots of resin aroma hop. Medium plus body with mild carbonation. Flavor is lots of (mostly resin?) hop over caramel. But the effect is tremendous. Finishes well balanced. Quite tasty.
